Anna Wolf is a New York based fashion-lifestyle photographer and director working with high level advertising clients like Target, Levi’s, Unilever and Microsoft. She is also the founder, publisher and editor in chief of Tidal Magazine.


This is a position managing the daily office operations of Anna Wolf’s studio, including schedules, invoices, client/vendor communications, shipping, website/blog upkeep - along with in-house production as projects come in. This job is on-site, with some ability to work from home, and also requires occasional evening or weekend commitments.

This position is for a self-starter, a fun person, someone with equal parts professionalism, efficacy, and excitement about life. If you are ambitious, organized, nice, and cool to be around, Anna wants to hear from you!


  • Knowledge and experience in photo shoot production

  • Must be extremely detail oriented

  • Must be self-motivated and capable of problem solving

  • Ability to think ahead and anticipate needs

  • Proficient in: Apple Numbers, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, In-Design, Google Docs, Squarespace, iContact and social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr

  • A minimum of one year living in New York City or surrounding boroughs

  • Able to work flexible schedule based on the workload

  • Able to commit to a minimum of one year

  • Demonstrated strong and professional verbal and written communication skills

  • Basic retouching / color correction skills would be ideal but not absolutely necessary


  • In-house production for Anna’s personal and editorial shoots

  • Scheduling photo assistants and organizing car rental, gear rental and other production details for commercial shoots

  • Invoicing

  • Management of files for delivery to bookkeeper monthly

  • Consistent monitoring of the studio email account and updating Anna’s schedule, including when not in the studio

  • Maintaining shoot chart detailing each step from pre-production through post production

  • Maintaining and organizing address book contacts

  • Daily/weekly updates on all aspects of social media including Instagram, blog, Facebook Fanpage, Pinterest

  • Lay out quarterly newsletter using In-Design and send out through iContact

  • Running errands, shipping, archiving files

  • Looking for ways to improve office efficiency


  • Management of Tidal’s website and Instagram

  • Working alongside Tidal’s production director and photo editor to aid in production related tasks

  • Coordinate subscriptions and distribution to stores, contributors, and team

  • Coordinate and work (night of) launch parties (2x year)

  • Aggregate and format crew and fashion credits for executive editor

  • Update press kit after each issue
