For this Tidal Mag Online shoot, I tapped this ultra cool couple who had come into a casting for another recent project. We weren’t able to book them for that shoot, but they were top of mind when this creative bubbled up. From there, we casted our “grandpa” role separately, and let the cast determine our styling and the look and feel of the location. I wanted to pull together a shoot that felt elevated but loose, filled with the warmth and true connection that comes so easily when you cast a real family. (Our prop stylist Alex—who is sort of like family—made it into one of the shots and she fit right in).
